The workshop is a light and relaxed space with a large design table where we can lay out your work with samples of mountboards and mouldings to see what works best with your piece. Consultations and quotes are free, and you can drop in any time during opening hours.
I specialise in bespoke framing using high quality materials, and stock a wide range of bare wood and factory-finished mouldings along with white-core and ragmat mountboards. Many frames are stained, painted or waxed to order.
I can offer a variety of glazing options, from inexpensive float glass through to high-tech coated anti-reflective and UV resistant varieties with acrylic sheet as another option.
Other services include stretching canvasses and making up box-frames for memorabilia, frame repairs and reglazing. Some customers simply need a mount cutting, or just to buy a new picture wire to take away and fit themselves.
